ELWN LIMITED WARRANTY
The ELWN® warranty on ELWN headphones remains in effect for one year from the date of the first purchase. Proof of purchase is required to process ELWN® headphone repairs and replacements.
WHO IS PROTECTED BY THIS WARRANTY?
The ELWN warranty protects the original purchaser or the person receiving the product as a gift for ONE (1) YEAR from the original purchase date, provided that the ELWN product was purchased from a dealer who was authorized by the ELWN manufacturer to sell such products at the time of original purchase.
WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
Except as specified below, the ELWN warranty covers all defects in material workmanship as well as failure of the products due to perspiration. Failure due to perspiration is defined as the function of the headphones failing directly due to the effects of perspiration, and excludes failure due to other causes or misuse. The ELWN manufacturer reserves the right to replace a discontinued model with a comparable model. Any replacement parts may be new or rebuilt. The ELWN manufacturer’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement, at the option of ELWN manufacturer, of a defective product.
We reserve the right to test all product returns to determine defects present, and must be allowed 2 weeks time from the time the return is received at the ELWN office, in order to fully test the product and repair as needed. Any ELWN return product that is tested and found to be in working condition without manufacturing defects will be returned to customer without replacement or repair. Any ELWN return product that is found to have defects will be repaired or replaced at ELWN’s discretion, for return to the customer.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
This warranty does not cover unauthorized purchases of ELWN products. The following is not covered: damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, product modification or neglect; damage occurring during shipment; damage from failure to follow instructions contained in the instruction manual; damage resulting from the performance of repairs by someone not authorized by the ELWN manufacturer; damage caused by installation of parts that do not conform to ELWN specifications; headphones not used for their intended purpose; any claims based on misrepresentations by the seller; products with any serial number removed or defaced or products sold on an “as is” or final sales basis.
For repairs and returns, ELWN is not liable to pay shipping, insurance or transportation charges from you to us, or any import fee, duties and taxes. ELWN’s maximum liability shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid by you for the product.
This warranty does not cover consumables such as batteries, unless a defect in material workmanship is present. ELWN does not guarantee that ELWN headphones will operate error free and uninterrupted, due to the nature of the product technology. ELWN is not liable to refund products based off of interrupted performance, and based on a case by case basis will access if an interrupted performance indicates a defect in material workmanship, and offer a replacement or repair at our discretion.
NOTE: Repair of our product must be done by an authorized dealer. Unauthorized repair will void the warranty and is done at the risk of the consumer. We have no liability to pay for any repairs performed by anyone other than us, unless in each instance we have given express written approval for such repairs.

DO NOT RETURN PRODUCTS TO ELWN WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION, THEY WILL BE RETURNED UNOPENED. For product covered by our 1 year warranty, the defective product will need to be sent back to ELWN for testing. If the item is found to have a manufacturing defect, it will be repaired or replaced at our discretion, and the product will be shipped back to customers free of charge. If the product is found to lack any manufacturing defects, the original item will be returned to the customer.
Please contact us directly at [email protected] or call us at +1(801) 895–2014 to request a return within 14 days of receipt of your ELWN product. Any return requests made beyond this time period are not valid. Customers must contact us directly and obtain return authorization in the form of an RMA #. Once authorization is issued, customers are responsible for shipping product back to ELWN with the RMA number clearly marked on the return package. Please include in the return shipment the original shipping carton, packaging, and product accessories, as a charge will be made for missing items. Opened and used product will be subject to a 20% restocking fee to be taken out of the total refund amount. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.
